My Food Philosophy
I believe that cooking shouldn’t be complicated or intimidating. My philosophy is simple: use fresh, quality ingredients to create dishes that are both nourishing and exciting. I focus on seasonal produce, bold flavors, and recipes that can be easily adapted to your family’s tastes. For me, food is more than just sustenance—it’s a way to show love, create memories, and celebrate life’s moments, big and small.
My Story
I didn’t always know I wanted to be a chef. I grew up in a family where the kitchen was the heart of the home, but I initially pursued a different career path. After a few years, I realized my true calling was, and always had been, food. I took a leap of faith, went to culinary school, and haven’t looked back.
I started kensleyrae as a way to document my culinary journey and share the recipes I was developing. It has since grown into a wonderful community of food lovers, and I feel incredibly grateful to be able to share my passion with you every day.
