- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hash browns with melted unsalted butter, salt, and ground black pepper.
- Transfer the hash brown mixture into your greased skillet or pizza pan, pressing it down firmly.
- Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove the crust from the oven and layer shredded cheddar cheese, breakfast sausage or bacon, diced bell peppers, and chopped green onions.
- Form four shallow depressions in the cheese layer and crack one egg into each depression.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 3 minutes before slicing.
