- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the chive and onion cream cheese with ranch dressing, garlic salt, and onion powder. Mix until smooth, then fold in chicken, bacon, green onions, and 1 cup cheese.
- Slice the Italian loaf in half lengthwise and hollow out some of the bread from the inside, leaving about an inch of crust.
- Layer shredded cheese at the bottom of the hollowed-out loaf, spoon in the filling, and top with another layer of cheese.
- Press the top half of the loaf back on, brush with melted butter, and optionally mix in garlic powder or herbs.
- Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 30–40 minutes, unwrapping for the last 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven, let cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
