Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat for about 1-2 minutes until shimmering. Stir in 2 tablespoons of garlic paste, cooking until fragrant and bubbly, which should take an additional minute.
- Quickly add 1¼ cups of ditalini pasta to the skillet, stirring well to coat the pasta with the garlic-infused oil. Allow the pasta to sauté for about 1 minute.
- Pour in 2 cups of chicken broth and sprinkle in ¼ teaspoon of salt. Stir the mixture frequently to prevent the pasta from sticking to the pan.
- Continue cooking on medium-high heat for approximately 8 minutes, or until the ditalini is al dente and most of the broth has been absorbed.
- Once the pasta is cooked, lower the heat and stir in ½ cup of finely grated Parmesan cheese, ¼ cup of heavy cream, and 2 tablespoons of salted butter. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Taste the dish and add additional salt and black pepper to preference. Remove from heat and sprinkle fresh minced parsley on top. Serve immediately.
