- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, dried onion flakes, dried thyme, and paprika. Whisk until blended.
- Add the olive oil, water, and tomato puree to the dry mix. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead gently for about a minute until less sticky.
- Roll the dough out to about ⅙ inch (4mm) thick on a floured surface.
- Cut out circles using a 1-inch cookie cutter, re-rolling any leftover dough as needed.
- Arrange the cutouts on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Bake for approximately 10 minutes until edges are lightly browned.
- Turn off the oven, leave the crackers inside for an additional 3-4 minutes to crisp up further.
- Transfer the crackers to a cooling rack and let cool for about 15 minutes.
