  • 1 cup Medjool Dates Soaked in warm water
  • 1/2 cup Tahini Runny for easier mixing
  • 1/2 cup Dairy-Free Milk Unsweetened soy, almond, or oat milk recommended
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder Or cacao powder for a raw alternative
  • 1 cup Almond Flour Can substitute with oat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda Ensure it's fresh
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt Kosher or regular salt can be used
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Optional, adds extra flavor
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1/2 cup Vegan Chocolate Chips Dark or white chips
  • 1/2 cup Nuts Walnuts or pecans

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Soak the Medjool dates in warm water for about 10 minutes to soften them.
  2. Drain the soaked dates and blend until smooth to create a date paste.
  3. Combine the date paste, tahini, and dairy-free milk in a bowl and mix until smooth.
  4. Whisk together the cocoa powder, almond flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a parchment-lined baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
