Preparation Steps
- Prepare the Lavender Sugar by grinding culinary lavender and mixing it with granulated sugar.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Grind the Earl Grey tea bags until finely ground and sift to eliminate larger particles.
- Combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground Earl Grey in a medium bowl.
- Cream softened butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add room temperature egg and vanilla bean paste to the mixture and beat until combined.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients gently until just combined.
- Scoop and roll the dough into balls, then coat them in the prepared lavender sugar.
