  • 2 large Eggs Beaten
  • 1 cup Milk For egg wash
  • 2 cups Breadcrumbs Panko recommended for extra crunch

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Add to breadcrumbs

For the Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Butter For sauce and browning chicken

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ½ inch.
  3. Layer turkey and Swiss cheese on each flattened chicken breast, then roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  4. Set up a breading station with flour, egg wash, and breadcrumbs.
  5. Coat each chicken roll in flour, dip into egg wash, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. In a skillet, melt butter and brown the chicken rolls for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  7. Transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. Prepare the Swiss cheese sauce by melting butter, whisking in flour, and adding milk until thickened, then stir in Swiss cheese.
  9. Serve the Chicken Cordon Bleu warm, drizzled with cheese sauce.
