- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and yeast.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
- Cover the bowl and let rise for 1.5 to 2 hours until doubled in size.
- Roll out the risen dough to about 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface.
- Cut donuts using a round cutter and place on a baking sheet.
- Heat oil in a deep pot to 170-180°C (340-360°F).
- Fry donuts for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
- Whip heavy cream with sugar until stiff peaks form.
