Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare the dressing by blending together 1 cup of Parmesan cheese, ¾ cup of olive oil, ¼ cup of white wine vinegar, ½ cup of mayonnaise, and the juice of one lemon. Add garlic salt and Italian seasoning, whisk until smooth.
  2. Chop 2 cups of American salad blend, dice 2 firm tomatoes, slice ¼ of a red onion, pit and slice a handful of black olives, slice 6-8 pepperoncini peppers. Layer these on top of the salad blend.
  3. Add approximately 1 cup of croutons and ¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  4. Toss the salad gently for 1-2 minutes, ensuring a good mix of flavors.
  5. Drizzle about ½ to ¾ cup of prepared dressing over the salad and toss again gently for 30 seconds.
  6. Serve immediately in a bowl or on plates to enjoy fresh.
