Ingredients

For the Garlic Butter
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Use softened butter for easier spreading.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Substitution: Fresh minced garlic can enhance flavor if you prefer.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley Note: Fresh parsley can be used for a brighter flavor if finely chopped.
For the Sandwich
  • 4 slices Bread Any type of bread works, but thicker slices yield a better crunch.
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese Blend Variations: Swap for Swiss, gouda, or a personal favorite cheese blend.

Equipment

  • Skillet

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine the butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until smooth.
  2. Generously apply the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, on a preheated skillet over medium-low heat, and layer half of your cheese blend on each slice.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and cook the sandwiches for 4–5 minutes, or until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 4–5 minutes.
  5. Once both sides are golden and crispy, remove the sandwiches from the skillet, let them rest for a minute before slicing, and serve warm.
