- In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, melted unsalted butter, and the egg. Stir until smooth.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Remove dough and roll into balls. Optionally roll in powdered sugar before placing on sheets about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie while they are warm.
