Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, combine sharp cheddar cheese, cold cubed unsalted butter, all-purpose flour, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Pulse until it resembles coarse sand.
  3. Add cold water gradually and pulse until a cohesive dough forms.
  4. Shape the dough into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes.
  5. Lightly flour your work surface, roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness, and cut out crackers using a goldfish-shaped cutter.
  6. Arrange cut-out crackers on the baking sheet, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, and bake for 11-13 minutes.
  7. Allow the crackers to cool completely on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes before transferring to an airtight container.
