Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Cook the Honey Mixture by combining honey and sugar over medium heat until dissolved and reaches 240°F (116°C) in about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Whip the Egg Whites using a mixer until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Combine the Mixtures by slowly pouring the hot honey mixture into the whipped egg whites while mixing on low.
  5. Add Nuts and Flavor by gently folding in the toasted nuts and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour and Smooth the Torrone mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Set the Torrone at room temperature for approximately 4 hours until firm.
  8. Cut and Store the set Torrone into bite-sized pieces, wrapping each in wax paper.
