Dough Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and minced garlic. Add warm water and olive oil. Stir until cohesive and no dry flour remains.
First Rise
- Cover with plastic wrap and let rest at room temperature for 12–18 hours until doubled in size and bubbly.
Shape the Dough
- Turn dough onto floured surface, stretch into a round shape, and sprinkle grated parmesan over the top.
Second Rise
- Transfer shaped dough to floured countertop, cover with a towel, and let rest for 1–2 hours until slightly puffy.
Preheat Oven
- Preheat Dutch oven to 450°F and heat with lid on for about 30 minutes.
Bake
- Transfer dough into hot pot, cover, and bake for 30 minutes. Remove lid and bake for additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
Cool
- Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack for at least 15–20 minutes before slicing.
