Dough Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and minced garlic. Add warm water and olive oil. Stir until cohesive and no dry flour remains.
First Rise
  1. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest at room temperature for 12–18 hours until doubled in size and bubbly.
Shape the Dough
  1. Turn dough onto floured surface, stretch into a round shape, and sprinkle grated parmesan over the top.
Second Rise
  1. Transfer shaped dough to floured countertop, cover with a towel, and let rest for 1–2 hours until slightly puffy.
Preheat Oven
  1. Preheat Dutch oven to 450°F and heat with lid on for about 30 minutes.
Bake
  1. Transfer dough into hot pot, cover, and bake for 30 minutes. Remove lid and bake for additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
Cool
  1. Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack for at least 15–20 minutes before slicing.
