  • 0.5 cups Beef Broth or chicken/vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil optional
For Thickening
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch or arrowroot powder

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by slicing the flank steak thinly against the grain, and mince the garlic and ginger.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and beef broth.
  3. Place the sliced flank steak in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it; stir gently.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and stir it in during the last 30 minutes.
  6. Serve over rice or noodles, or in lettuce wraps. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds.
