Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 pound of ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
  3. Add 1 chopped onion and 8 ounces of sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, then add 2 crushed garlic cloves and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Return the browned beef to the skillet. Stir in 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, and 1 cup of beef broth. Simmer for 5 minutes and fold in ½ cup of sour cream.
  5. Cube 4 hamburger buns and place them in a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish. Pour the beef and mushroom mixture evenly over the buns.
  6. Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded Swiss cheese generously over the top.
