- Combine frozen shredded hash brown potatoes with melted unsalted butter in a large mixing bowl.
- Fold in jalapeno pimento cheese, sour cream, chicken broth, and chopped green onions. Stir in salt and black pepper.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle grated sharp cheddar cheese on top if desired.
