  2. In a large bowl, toss the cleaned mushrooms with 1 tablespoon of oil, salt, and pepper until well coated, then arrange them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Roast the mushrooms for approximately 20 minutes, stirring gently halfway through.
  4. In a medium skillet, melt 1/4 cup of butter over medium heat until it turns a nutty golden brown, then remove from heat.
  5. Immediately add the chopped garlic and thyme to the browned butter, followed by 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
  6. Once roasted, transfer the mushrooms to the skillet, tossing them in the browned butter mixture and adjusting seasoning as needed.
