Cooking Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Sauté for about 5 minutes, or until browned.
- Stir in 3 minced garlic cloves and 1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and black pepper to taste. Stir well and cook for an additional minute.
- Add the chopped stems of 1 bunch of bok choy and sauté for about 1 minute until slightly tender.
- Toss in the bok choy leaves and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until they wilt yet remain bright green.
- If using, drizzle 1 teaspoon of sesame oil over the stir-fried mixture and stir to incorporate the flavor.
- Serve immediately over steamed rice or noodles.
