  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar White vinegar can be a suitable substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon Celery Seeds Omit if not available.
  • Parsley or Chives Fresh herbs for garnish.

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine apple cider, honey, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic. Simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Sear skin-side down for 6-7 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Pour the glazed mixture over the seared chicken, reduce heat to medium-low, and let it simmer for 10 minutes while turning occasionally.
  4. Prepare the slaw by combining shredded cabbage, carrots, and apple slices in a large bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar, celery seeds, salt, and pepper. Dress the slaw just before serving.
  5. Plate the sticky apple cider chicken alongside the slaw or layer the chicken on top of the slaw for presentation.
