- Begin by dicing fresh pineapple into bite-sized chunks and placing them in a bowl.
- In a medium saucepan, combine granulated sugar, apple cider vinegar, ground turmeric, cayenne pepper, ground ginger, and salt. Place over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves and mixture bubbles.
- Once syrup is bubbling, carefully add diced pineapple. Stir gently to coat and let simmer for a few moments.
- Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 40-60 minutes until pineapple is translucent and syrup thickens.
