Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather your fresh green cabbage, ginger, and other ingredients. Finely slice the cabbage into thin strips and mince the ginger. Set aside.
  2. In a large non-stick pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes until shimmering.
  3. Add the minced ginger (and garlic if using) to the pan. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Toss in the sliced cabbage. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until vibrant green and tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and rice vinegar, stirring to coat the cabbage evenly. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and drizzle honey or sugar over the cabbage if desired. Toss to combine and garnish with sesame seeds.
